New Romney Town Council serves the residents of the Parish of New Romney. The Town Council's main role is to act in the interests of the parish and its residents by making decisions and recommendations that help to improve the local environment and the quality of life of local residents. The Council works in partnership with other organisations, as appropriate, including other tiers of Local Government as well as voluntary and community organisations.

Temporary Road Closures

Due to works planned to be undertaken by SGN, it will be necessary to close part of Madeira Road, Littlestone, from 7th October 2024 with estimated completion by 21st October 2024. Madeira Road, Littlestone, will be closed East side of the splitter island at the junction with B2071 Littlestone Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. The alternative route for any through traffic is via Madeira Road, B2071 Littlestone Road and vice versa. Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing gas works to be carried out, works are undertaken by SGN. Read More...
