New Romney Town Council serves the residents of the Parish of New Romney. The Town Council's main role is to act in the interests of the parish and its residents by making decisions and recommendations that help to improve the local environment and the quality of life of local residents. The Council works in partnership with other organisations, as appropriate, including other tiers of Local Government as well as voluntary and community organisations.

Temporary Road Closures

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Kent County Council, it will be necessary to close part of Tillery Lane, Brookland, from 10th November 2025 with estimated completion by 28th November 2025. Tillery Lane, Brookland, will be closed 15m either side of the culvert carrying Tillery Lane over St Thomas Innings watercourse, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. Read More...
